Okay, time for another gathering in the New England area :thumbup:

JWilliams will be coming to town around the 4th of July! He will be staying with me for the duration. Luckily my wife is out of town, so he can't try anything that will get him stabbed with an Izula:D

So you know what they say; when the cats away the mice will play! Lets do a camp out!

Who wants to attend? I would like to keep this in the NY or CT area.


Also I will take Jake into NYC for a night of drinking. It would be funny to see that redneck make his way through the city:D

I am stoked to get out there and meet some of you folks. I warn ya, I am a loud, crazy bastid at times. Especially when I have some liquid courage in me. :cool:

Your wifey might be gone, but mine will not be there either, so we will both be able to function normally and not have to sleep with one eye open. ;)

This is like a month exactly after I return from Cali. Ah, summer travels, and hanging with buds. What could be better!!

I foresee us going down to TimeSquare as it's Jake's first time in NY, but maybe after we can go somewhere else where we will run in to actual New Yorkers;)
 
u should try mcsorley's old ale house...

2nd oldest bar in nyc... somewhere in the village near a college and almost next to a big square standing on it's corner... i used to take the #11 subway to get there.... grins u gotta love drunk directions...

me and a buddy had to stumble run all the way back to the boat docked next to the "I" the night they shut the subway down.... it was a trip

Yep, its gonna be a sweeeet summer.

For what its worth guys, I hate tourists, so Id be waaay more comfy in the less traveled spots of the city......
 
That depends on what "skills" you want to practice, and what time of night it is. :p

I work in EMS, spent 4 years in the Army, and grew up in uh, not so good parts of SoCal. I also spent alot of time in the worst neighborhoods of Atlanta. Takes alot to shock me. ;) :p

We'll figure out a date as soon as Jake buys his tickets and we know how long he will be here for.
