It was wonderful! A beautiful homemade Carrot Cake, shared with great friends!! Lots of spirited conversation, and a sip of wine!!
And a surprise from a good friend!! He bought this prototype #54 HJ from me in 2008!! I needed to sell some to pay for my SFO order. He remembered how reluctant I was to let it go, all those years ago, and he brought it to me for my Birthday today!! It's marked 1 of 25, but Bill only made half of them - so it's one of about a dozen!! And it's a beauty - talk about a birthday knife!! 😲 :cool:

Wait, I know this is my first involvement in BF knife process and still learning but I'm curious about this statement by @waynorth...

@waynorth, is this for the BF knife? Are you putting in some sort of down payment?? Hope not but I couldn't just skim over this comment without asking...

I did notice @waynorth recently selling a handful of his amazing collection but hope this isn't because of the BF knife??? If so, is there anyway we can help without you foregoing some of your collection?

Those are knives belonging to a friend, who bought them from me over the years; the same friend who gave me that Prototype for my birthday!! ;)
