I got the the inside track. Ethan signed a deal with crimson trace laser. All bk 2 going forward will come with a crimson trace laser for batoning.

There is a goofy Mantis chopper with a laser guide already. Don't know what its called, though I'm sure someone has the link.
 
The BK-2 is the flagship, I think if they are going to tune up only one knife it will be the 2.
