Got this from Brad and Lisa Roe at Guild knives. I have a full size hawk I keep in my BOB. This is awesome - a perfect teeny replica, sharp primary edge, sharp beard and spike. I love it. Thanks guys!

Its very nice . That doesn,t appear much more than keychain sized . Does it have a useful purpose or is it just a collectible .

Edges are hardened and sharp, so it could be considered a mini-tool. Great for hand-to-mouse combat!

Guild Knives has a few of these for sale. They have as much work in them as a custom knife so the price he is charging is pretty minimal for such a great item.

Haha!! At one time I was a LifeGuard part-time for Walt Disney World Resorts in Florida. The "mouse" comment was good- we made a lot of jokes at the Mouse's expense. It can be used instead of a kubotan and has points that can be used for control instead of a blunt tool as most of them are. Brad Roe, Guild Knives & Tools

Does it cut? Definately yes. Can you do surgery with it? No. The edge geometry is off for slicing. It will cut out shapes in paper and will hook into clothing and skin. If sharpened, it will cut cord, which is what I use it for when doing wraps. I use a coarse diamond rod from DMT to put a little bit of serration on the edges (a trick I learned from old dive knives). This was a test and it worked well. Others will be made of L-6 and will be harder in Rockwell. The Kydex cover can be strung with a cord or chain for neck hanger. If you see me at a show i will have one around my neck. Last 2 teeny hawks sold in the ebay store tonight. We will have more of them in the next couple of days. If you want one, send us your email address at RoeKnivesNGifts@aol.com and we can notify you when they are ready to go back in the store. That way you can make sure you get some of the new ones as they go quick!

If you want to advertise your website with every post, at least have the decency to get a membership and do it legitimately. A Basic Membership is only $10 a year now; that's not a lot of money for all that advertising. On the other hand, the plank is waiting.

If you are indeed a true moderator of this forum then you should have the class to notify in private email about membership instead of showing rudeness in a public forum where we are allowed to post, membership or not. I have been checking out this forum for about a month to see if it was worth joining. The jury was out until now. I have contacted Blade Forums to see if you are one of their moderators and to issue a statement that I was displeased with your comments as they were unnecessarily rude. If you represent a company I would think you would at least be professional about it.

I'm sorry Nilaman, I didn't understand. Are you asking if I am serious for making the complaint or if that Cougar dude is serious about buying a membership and his rudeness. It was not my intent to offend anyone. My comment was made for Cougar regarding his post

Well to start if you actually read the rules of the forums you would have seen the rule that goes something like "advertising is not allowed on this forum, unless you are a paying member". Sounds pretty reasonable to me. You pay a small fee to help keep this site going, and in turn you get all the advertising space you want.

Either that or

Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

You are entitled to your opinion Red...and I understand your point of view, I really do. I was told about this site a month ago from someone who liked our knives and before I joined I was checking it out from time to time. I never said I was not going to join at some point. I was merely stating that rather than be rude publicly like he was he could have asked me in email privately. Especially if he is a moderator/representative of this site. In my opinion he handled it poorly but apparently many of you think he was fine to be rude. Thanks for your time and Greg (knuckleduster) thanks for turning me onto this site originally. I did for awhile enjoy it.

I have to agree - no need to spank someone publicly for a misunderstanding about the rules. I will continue to show off Guild knives stuff every chance I get - it is excellent, innovative and deserves to be seen.
