Estimated of $75,000-90,000 but it sold for 1,500 pounds in 1838, which as best as I can tell, would have been around $7500 or $182,000 in 2012 dollars!!!!!!! So this thing, as an antique and important historical pice, is still selling for about half what it cost new!
