Hi, guys. Went to the gunshow today. Good bit of knives there.
Lot's of junk but a few good things. I was actually fond of the Glock field knife. Looked well made. Price varied from 29 to 42.

A few custom makers were there. Two were interesting. Some sweet blades.
First: Doug Ashby www.ashbycustomknives.com.
Second: JL Hollett www.kustomknives.com

Some guy was also selling buckets of EDC type SAKs etc. He says they were taken at Airport Security chk points?

I bought my first custom made knife at a Dallas market hall show about 18yrs ago, a Deleon stag drop point.I lived in Richardson for 23yrs before returning to Alabama three yrs ago.

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Ala. Now I live in Plano. Love em both but I am really coming to love Texas.

Jake Bauer, What ya doin in AR?

Dougo: How do you buy them from TSA?

I live in Jacksonville now, across from the JSU performing arts center

Yep, the Gun and Knife Show at Market Hall is always a huge event with a ton of exhibitors. Also bought my first custom knife at that show over 30 years ago - A small Jimmy Lile folder bought from the "Arkansas Knifesmith" himself. Probably the best $125 bucks I've spent on a cutlery product. After thirty-something years the stag is getting a little thin but the old folder still locks up like a vault.

I really wish I knew. I think all the buyers are dealers with contracts. I have never really looked into it. I just know that fleabay usually has 5 or 6 TSA confiscation auctions going on.
