Gun and knife show

When did that cow bone 112 come out? I don't think I have one and I do not remember ever seeing it...I have missed a lot of important/rare/odd 112's.I'll put it on my want list!

I can't remember when I got them, but they I "think" they were offered to BCCI members via an e-mail list from Joe. They are buildouts. I'm still searching for the e-mail list and letter so I can pin down the date they came out. David can look at the box for the date and get close to the time they were offered.

I did just find an e-mail from David the day Leesa surprised him with it. That was in late June of 2011, so they went on sale sometime prior to that.

Here's a couple of them. Notice the BCCI tang stamp.

Thanks, Plumber for the info.. I know it has the BCCI stamp and yes it was June 2011 that I recieved it. I'll check the box for numbers when I can. I've had more people comment that they like the stone washed blade of S30V on that model upon seeing it. That model was displayed on this table. DM

Tom, I had forgotten about those photos you took. I think that was the first year we displayed in the convention center, perhaps March 2011. This is a much nicer place. The restrooms actually have soap and papertowles. Thanks, DM

I remember seeing that one. The stonewash really did compliment the cowbone white.

Thanks again David for sharing all of the pictures, your wife does such beautifull work,I love the knives she engraves/scrimshaws.

Thanks Kim and Razor. Here is some of the bolo-ties she offered on the table. DM

David, those are all winners. Thank you for posting those photographs. They are beautiful. Please tell her for me. My favorite is the one about seven o'clock in the group shot.

I think it's time that I again shared some of the work that Leesa has done for me in the past (for those who are newer here and may have missed them). These are just three examples of the knives and one plaque. Thanks again Leesa!!!

Larry,do you know when that 112 came out? There is very few S30V 112 blades..

Other than the stone washed finish, the blades are the same as the ones from the 2010 BCCI Heritage Series 112, and I aquired them in early 2011. I'd say that they were from that batch of blades but with just a different finsh. An experiment perhaps or an option for the club knife that got the thumbs down?
