Anyone have any positive/negative expierience with the GunBroker on-line auction site?

I have a pretty sizable number of Antique and modern firearms that I need to liquidate in association with an estate. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

I've done about 5 with gunbroker and have been very well pleased. STAY AWAY from Gunsamerica.com, since the posts are NOT automatically deleted or updated.

Send them to me. I'll pay shipping if there is any U.S. Military stuff there.:D
Honestly, Gunbroker is a pretty good site. Auction Arms is another one I use.
I have done a bit of dealings on GunsAmerica as well, but keep in mind that it is a "Selling" site, not an "Auction" site....so the price you post is what it sells at. Auction Arms gets ALOT of traffic as well. All three are pretty good.

I've had mostly good experiences with gun broker, probably 50+/- transactions, but they have no resolution for auctions gone bad.

Sure it was only an $80 gun, but I paid for it darn it! and I've got a copy of the cashed money order to prove it! too bad the postal service takes so long in doing anything about these things, and with no satisfactory resolution from the site, I'm pretty well screwed.

GunBroker has been a pretty good place for me so far - I have also bought thru a dealer on GunsAmerica and really enjoyed the process.

Either one is a good bet, as long as you have a fairly detailed description as well as good photos - you could spend quite a bit of time answering emails about the firearms without extremely accurate descriptions -

Example, if you are selling a Smith and Wesson 640-1 .357 Mag snubby built prior to the stupid internal lock, the description is pretty easy - most people looking for one of those already know what they are looking for and what you are selling.

On the other hand, if you have an older and maybe less well-known firearm, the description is key, dates of manufacture, good photos, any paperwork, etc.

Best of luck, and if you happen to have such a Smith 640-1, no lock, drop me an email and I'll save you a listing fee!
