Gun buy panic and Spyderco sales?

I disagree, though it's the case for you, it may be the opposite for others. For every person that isn't paying infated price for guns, there are two(or more) that are. Just look at the lines at the gun shows, and people in the gun shops.

Many go from gun forums to knife forums, and repeat. I've went back and forth from buying alot of both in my life. I'll be into gun's for years, and then back to knives. Been this way for me the last 30 years.

The lack of Para2's has nothing to do with gun sales.

Yes but from my experience, those folks paying inflated prices, are new to the gun world (or put off buying that certain gun for too long and are now scared that they won't be able to in the future) and quite-possibly new to the knife-world as well.

I don't think the cause for specific Spyderco models is 100% gun-guys going "F@#$ it, I might as well buy knives for a bit", but I do think there is some correlation there. Of the gun-boards I'm on, there is definitely a lull in purchasing from the majority of the folks who saw this coming.

Not so down here, but I do live in a VERY Red state, and their political beliefs is driving much of their buying.
A few gun nut friends of mine have been begging to buy some of my hi-cap guns. Told them they should hold off, and if I sold mine it would be at an inflated price since I didn't need to sell. They didn't care, so I did sell one of my AR's, and a couple of Hi-Cap handguns to friends that already have plenty of the same.
Plenty of my friends that have been into guns their whole life are buying, and standing in show lines for up to two hours. I've always went to alot of shows, and they ask if I'm going with them, but no way am I standing in the current long lines.
