It was from the big boss man himself. I guess he wanted a new name or something to differentiate this Gunhammer from the previous ones.
 
I still like the name Gun Hammer Cataclysm...has a nice ring to it. If I make knives one day, that will be one of them. lol :D
 
Maybe Solid Gun Hammer, because it's got a sturdy framelock, in the sense of being durable, it's a DDR, which makes it solid in the sense of being dependable or reliable, it will cut like a laser, so it's solid in the sense of being accurate, it's a DDR, so it's solid in the sense of being one admirable piece of work. Plus I could see someone in Metal Gear Solid carrying one.
