yes, we had another gun/knife show this weekend in memphis....it was good overall and mike payne asked me to man his table this am so he could do his ususal gig at the church playing the organ and running the choir....its quite different seeing things from the "inner circle" side of the table...its not easy to wait on customers and keep everything straight and keep them happy....i am glad i only had to do it for a few hours...i dont see how dealers do it!... i saw fellow forum members trav and mike payne.....also met forum member frodo for the first time.....real nice guy....kudos to mike payne for letting fellow forum members put some knives that needed to be recycled for cash to get more goodies on his already well stocked tables....lets just say aresee of jackson, tn and trav of memphis did ok today... i also saw again a forum member to be who makes some really nice sheaths out of kydex and he had on the neatest iwb kydex holster he had made for a 4 5/8 inch barreled super blackhawk that i didnt realize he was wearing with the gun until he showed me!...VERY COOL STUFF!....i also got to witness one of mike's customers (fred) go on a buying spree for the second time at mike's table and buy a boatload of new knives for his kids for christmas and also got some for himself.....the man was like a hungry kid in a candy store.....thanks...feverdoc

Hey doc. It certainly was a good show--sold enough of my stuff for me to order a new MT Hawk--a Sterile Satin Weiland--with some change left over! I thanked Mike (Payne) earlier for "taking me under his wing" and would like to say the same to you...so THANKS! You and Mike always do extremely well at the shows--I've never seen anything like it! Mike has so many loyal repeat customers, and makes new ones every show--like Fred Gray. Anyone in the Memphis, TN, area should come out to one of the shows--they are great!

thanks aresee.....even though its mike's booth/tables i do have a good time....i never seem to be able to get rid of my "recycle stuff" but am able to sell knives that belong to other people better....i had three pieces on mike's tables this last show and had them at rock bottom prices and they were looked at by many but they didnt sell... i somehow managed to sell a bunch of yours and one for trav and LOTS for mike....guess i will stick those three pieces back in my trade/sell pile and try again.....might give one or two away for xmas.....thanks again aresee.....feverdoc
 
it was also a pleasure to meet you frodo...the autos you picked up belonged to aresee....right after you left another guy came along and bought the rest of aresee's autos....i ended up giving one of my knives away as a xmas present to a deserving young man i have never met and was able to trade off another one recently....see you at the next show hopefully...feverdoc
