Gun Picture Thread

Siblings now.

A lot of shooting, very little talking today. 7-200yds. Making sure everything is working properly and dialed n. Feel confident in my equipment. Not shown is a second G17, and the 590 Shockwave.
Starting to really like the birds head grip vs the old pistol grip style, on the Shockwave. Walked a short course and showed my friends what a short barreled shotgun could do out to 20yds.

Got excited talking about it, so I took a picture.

I see a Big Dot on that shockwave. Did you install yourself?

I put a bright orange XS big dot on my 590 Retro and love it. Easy install, big upgrade over the OEM. 👍🏼
I have the factory ghost rings and front sight base with orange stripe on my 590a1. They are most excellent and shoot to point of aim after I raised the the rear sight a bit. Thought about going to the XS sight system like I have on my Marlin 1895, but think I’ll shoot it the way it is for now. Wear the new off of it!IMG_0911.jpeg

Every shooter should own something they can shoot at home, and I have more vintage airguns than anything besides I can always be shooting and they're my 1st love anyways.
Firearms are more of a necessity, and for me airguns are better for having fun.

I shot this Sheridan pair today.

The Blue streak rifle was bought by my cousin in '79, and the E pistol was originally bought by somebody in 1980 who never used it then by me on eBay a couple years ago.

I have an RWS 460 Mag in .22 that I shoot in the back yard quite a bit.

That's a nice sight setup. Not sure I'd change a thing on that. My 590 18'5" just came with a small bead front sight, no rear. It's an awesome gun, but having that bright dot out front helped a lot.

Yeah, I’ve only shot at 25 yards, and my shots were all touching at that distance with slugs. Consistent head shots. I’m not used to ghost rings on a shotgun, as I was raised shooting a bead. They aim really nice and have a wonderful sight picture. Going to dial it in for 50 yards and leave it be.

Your retro is nice by the way. I almost went with the retro model, but didn’t want the heat shield, so I got the battle grade 590a1.
