No reason really, other than I’ve never owned a G45 or 19x and it feels really balanced in the hand. Plus, I’m a big Glock fan. I’m hoping they come out with a 26x, because I’ll buy one of those too.BTW, what made you go with the 45?
I love my G45.
It feels so balanced. Gonna go put a few hundred rounds through it tomorrow.I love my G45.![]()
Held one the other day.
I ran 300 rounds of the Norma FMJ and 150 rounds of the Federal HST 124 grn without a hiccup to break it in. I've thrown mixed mags of 124 HSTs and 147 Ranger-ts at it and the G19 still not one failure. I'm going to shoot up some Underwood next time I get out, but I expect it will spit em out just fine.It feels so balanced. Gonna go put a few hundred rounds through it tomorrow.
The G45 is my favorite Glock. I prefer it to the 19, 17, and 34. It's just always felt better to me.No reason really, other than I’ve never owned a G45 or 19x and it feels really balanced in the hand. Plus, I’m a big Glock fan. I’m hoping they come out with a 26x, because I’ll buy one of those too.
The one that I held was awfully ugly and I had no interest in it other than holding it. Other than the finish it seemed great and a really good value for what 2011's typically cost. I've "built" one on their website a few times but haven't pulled the trigger yet. What’s your thoughts? Really like the idea of glocks mags in a 2011.
Today was actually a bad day for shooting, we had strong crosswinds and it opened up the groups a bit. I agree, on a good day, I’ve shot groups of cloverleafs @50 yards. This rifle is a laser beam!91bravo
I had one of those Savages but traded it locally. That gun shot way better than it's price would have indicated. Miss that one quite a bit.
Yeah I don’t get why someone would want one that is all kinds of different colors. But I guess whatever makes someone happy. Yeah I’ve built one before also. I heard there is suppose to be a newer model coming in 2024 so I’m going to wait till then before I order one. Since I have a lot of Glocks it would make sense to have a 1911 that uses the same mags. The one that I held was awfully ugly and I had no interest in it other than holding it. Savages have all been great shooters in my experience, especially in their Rimfire. I had an old 110 in .270 that I could bust 4” clays at 400 yards. It was an older 80s production gun.Savage rifles may not be as refined or eye catching as some other brands, but every Savage I've ever had was a shooter ... extremely accurate. Hard to beat in performance for the prices you can buy them.
Thank you for the kind words! If only I had a ranch to ride horses…. I’d have a complete outfit of your every item.
In my opinion, the EMP 9mm is one of the best commercially available 1911s one can get for concealed carry. The only thing about it I don't like is the FLGR.Thank you for the kind words!
