Gun Picture Thread

Actually got it from LGS for $59.99 before taxes.
I bought one last year from my LGS. They have always installed aftermarket sights for free after a gun purchase but they said it would be 60-90 days because they cant get anyone to fill the spots in their shop. Same at the other local shops. I then asked about some things I wanted done to my 1911 and a revolver and he kind of laughed. 6-12 months! An eye opener to me so I got rid of everything and bought 2 new Glocks.

Got to shoot a friend's new Prodigy the day he picked it up last weekend, and that sucker is a real single-hole puncher!! 🤩

We played a game where we placed a 1" orange sticker on a target 7 yards away, and the first guy would fire 3 shots. Then the second shooter would attempt to put his 3 shots into the same 3 holes that the 1st person punched, rather than shoot into the orange sticker.

Then the 3rd and 4th person would do the same. At one point with the 4 of us shooting a total of 12 shots, there were only 7 round or oblong holes not 12 round ones, and everyone got at least one 2-in-1 shot if not two... We were all shooting 1" 3-shot groups on our first attempt to shoot this prodigy WITH IRON SIGHTS!

In contrast, the groups with my brand new ZEV OZ9c with Radian Ramjet Afterburner was shooting 2" ragged groups after a full 15-round magazine. I do think I could shoot it better from a rest, but the new-unbroken-in long-pull DA trigger was still more of an issue than with the Prodigy.

Agreed, the prodigy is definitely a tack driver.

When I zeroed the RMR, I shot all of the little score numbers out on the silhouette and the little silhouette in the corner for scoring. It's like shooting a .22.

I do love my Glock 19 too, if I do my part and not throw the shot I can do about the same with it.

It's a Gen 4 Glock 19 with a Zev slide and Zev internals.

Aero 5.56 & 308

I enjoy building my own ARs so for me the Aero lowers with the threaded bolt catch pin are the bees knees ;)

Scorpion with a binary trigger is fun

The threaded bolt catch pin is a nice touch. I have multiple Aero lower builds myself. The threaded screw that holds the detent spring for the rear takedown pin is nice too!

Sounds like a great day. After the prodigy trigger is broken in, it might just be 3 holes in the target after 4 shooters and 12 rounds

Nice :D

My Gen 3 Glock 19 has the full ZEV trigger group plus ZEV barrel, with stock slide but Lightning Strike Ti striker kit. Trijicon night sights and hand stippled grip round out the package, and it's also a tack driver.

I might prefer the grip angle on my ZEV OZ9c though, and when it's broken in and I'm used to it then I might be shooting 1" groups like my son does with his.

Here is another tack driver...

AT 7 YARDS

I'M NOT SO GREAT AT 14 YARDS - I see double iron sights with my astigmatism. A Red Dot might help (Romeo 5 is also too blurry for my right eye, so I'll need a Holosun or Eotech or something else).
