Gun show Strider

And silence includes not asking questions which shouldn't be asked.

The OP didn't offer what he paid. So he's asked the question in venue open to the entire world which may make him feel as if he has been put on the spot. It's just plain rude to do that to anyone. Isn't this stuff taught anymore?
Good lord man, take your better than thou crap somewhere else.

Blade Forums allows paying members to ask valuation questions. This is clear, yes?

I remember when threads wouldn’t derail until much later.

Anyway, I like the way the carved appearance of the handle interacts with the stripes on the blade.

Depends.. Is this before they were banned?

Joking
Now that would be a slip up that gets someone rebanned... lol

I wasn't trying to be rude, just curious. Text can be difficult to decipher intent so I though I'd throw that out there.

I’m a long time lurker. I only recently got seriously into knife collecting, so patronizing the forum seemed right.

Ultimately, extraneous debates distract from the real conversation. The OP is showing a beautiful blade, and I’d rather discuss that.

Ah thanks for the clarification, and I do agree. Although if you've lurked long enough you'd know strider threads typically don't go well anyway.

That said, I'll bow out and detract no further..good day sirs.

what's the appeal of a knife like this? I owned one of these at one point and it didnt cut worth a damn because of it's overly thick blade/obtuse edge. It made a better paper weight than it did a knife.

I want to offer my apology to the op and others for throwing my 2 cents in the non thread related debate. No harm intended. Btw, nice Strider fixed blade, I emailed Mick recently asking about ordering one of his folders and didn’t get a response.

Love the more vintage Strider stuff. Great score.

Haven't figured out whether to issue a whopping load of infractions or move a lot of posts offline, and then infract them. In the meantime. The nonsense will stop.
