I'm not a newcomer to owning EDC knives but I only began to actually collect last year. I'd own an American made, folding knife until I lost it, or broke it, then buy a new one.

That said, I was recently burned by a ChiCom online seller called 'knifesonline'

When I fell for it the advertised retail was less, the debit was $154. My bank account showed a debit from, 'NANSHANQUPI NAN'. Yep, absolutely embarrassing, but I'm glad to be embarrassed if it helps one person.

Thank goodness for PayPal! Well, most of the time!

So the main reason I'm posting this is to see if anyone has heard of, or dealt with, 'One Stop Knife Shop', 8007 Vine Crest Ave #6 Louisville KY 40222? The prices aren't suspiciously low (my FAKE Griptilian G10 wasn't crazy cheap!), but the website is incredibly bad, maybe amateurish is the best word? And their availability of a pretty hard to find knife Id like add to my collection made me suspicious. Here's the URL:

https://www.onestopknifeshop.com/store/benchmade-550-1-pardue-griptilian-g10.html

Any advice would be appreciated!

I believe One Stop Knife Shop is the owner of this forum. I have not bought from him, but I would have no worries if I did. Buy with confidence.

Spark Spark is the owner of BladeForums and One Stop Knife Shop.

My recommendation would be to call him direct and see if what you're looking for is in stock.

1SKS is owned by the owner of this forum. I have bought from them in the past with zero problems.

I am not sure what exactly transpired with the other knife company you linked to since your post seems to be missing some information. Was the knife fake? Was it the price difference? Was it the name that showed on your bank statement? Did paypal refund your money?

Apologize.

😂😂 LOL I get where you're coming from. It's not a bad idea to judge websites by their design, however much face could've been saved by either googling or using the forum search function for "one stop knife shop reviews".

Call the shop. Most likely Kevin will answer and get you all set up on your new purchase.
Thank you.
Again, I'm super new to the collecting aspect part. I, unlike some douche bags, understand that a human is born with only so much information and it's better to just ask.

Wait a minute Mr Blues are we sure we can talk about the website in question? Maybe they don't have a dealer level membership. ;)

To the OP pitdoug1998 pitdoug1998 welcome to bladeforums, don't let these ne'erdowells razz ya too bad, this is the premier knife site on the whole interwebs and there's a world of information. There's a pretty good search engine at the upper right (at least on my screen). I've used it more than dozens of times.

Oh, keyboard badasses are sadly common, and usually weak people. Real alphas don't act like that way, just ankle biting betas that anxiety piss when they meet a real one. I wear my ego on my sleeve, the one I wipe my nose with sometimes. But, training matters too.

I really appreciate your polite response and your time John. I've actually learned a ton of informative from this site in very short time.

I had zero idea of who owned the site/forum. My bad and I meant no disrespect.
No worries, pitdoug1998 pitdoug1998

But, we frown upon calling people douche bags here...and we keep politics, a la ChiCom remarks, out of the discussion forums.

So, please enjoy your time here but keep the language family friendly to avoid unnecessary forum moderation, and politics belongs in the political discussion forum (only).

I wish I has that much time. I run a business and train K9 too, busy, busy.

And no worries. I'm gleefully unencumbered by what people that I don't know think about me. That's an EXTREME weakness, speaking of not having time.

So, I'll spend some money tomorrow, unless my newbie status prevents such a thing!

Thank you for your time!

Oh great now I need to point out that none of these guys fit your description in post 15. It's all in good fun.

Your last post was moved to the moderator section because of the "no politics" policy. Further exposition about China and its regime was unnecessary.

So, please read and follow the rules for the site. If you find they are too constraining, then perhaps this won't be a great fit. We don't ask much, but we do ask for folks to follow the site rules.

I believe this discussion has pretty much run its course at this point.

Good luck getting the knife you seek.
