Had a trade going with Lee in which I sent him over $500 worth of stuff for trade on a Strider sng knife. My package to him was delivered and received on feb 14.I still have yet to receive anything. Lee will not respond to my e-mails , and has given me many excuses, but I am now fed up! Lee this is my last resort since you will not respond to my e-mails or contact me. Please make this right.
 
Could be he's not in AK anymore. Like, maybe where the wind blows sand?

That may explain the drop off the planet thing.

Well-the instinct to expect the best-stick up for the military-and the fondness for anything Alaska, overrode the instinct to keep my dang mouth shut about something I'm not involved in.

Obviously something is not right here. Hopefully he'll come forward and set things right.

Dang. I hate when this kind of crap happens, because it causes all of us to have to be a bit more cautious and cold.
 
no more deals for me. I am not refering to this particular individual either...just setting a new guideline for myself.

Perhaps you were just very unlucky this time. I know it is painful to find your trust betrayed but I hope you will reconsider. I believe that the vast majority of people who trade on BladeForums are honest.

Just to clarify something; we do not delete posts or threads here at BFC. We keep everything on file for archival purposes, as well as for legal reasons.

When you get this situation resolved, you can post here what the resolution was, and have Gunny post an explanation as well. That way, when a search is done for references, the correct information, and the resolution will show up.

In my opinion it's a good policy also. On a number of bases including the undesirability of revisionism. The major downside is the exposure to nutters seeking/attracting flame wars or whatever, but there are ways around that. Which the moderators do a good job with I think, certain ones in particular actually. Like C and C.

Anyway Cole it is your business first and foremost of course, I appreciate that. Even so, editing isn't effective in a situation like this. Better to let it all be recorded as it transpired.
 
Well I gave him a second chance to make this right and still got screwed. Lee never sent my knife like he said , and then I was told that he would send me $400. Well, that never showed up.Wont respond to e-mails, I hope he has fun in court.:mad:
 
FYI..................I recieved an E-mail alleging this guy stiffed another formite on a firearm transaction.

Not only in very poor taste, but a federal firearms offense if true.

If anyone has this guy's name and address and can post it or E-mail me I would appreciate it.

I would like to verify if he is a LEO and if he is forward some info to his Boss.

if he is not, I would love to help get him before a magistrate. He should bring some soap with him!!!!!
 
Well Friday I received an e-mail stating the MO was on its way.Hasnt showed up. Then he e-mailed me stating he was going to put stop payment on the MO if I didn't delete my posts.saturday he e-mails me he has filed a report against me? Says nothing about the stop payment on the MO? We will see if it shows up. Also he was unable to provide me with any tracking info as usual.:mad:
 
If you need some help tracking him, send me an email. I know the moderators can probably track his IP info, but I work high tech crimes and may be able to make some contacts depending on his location.

Sounds like all he sent was another load of B.S..Where is the justice for all these thieves.What does it take to get them jailed?:mad:
 
Hmmm, still nothing.............Thought I would give the M.O. a little more time if he sent it standard mail. HA was I wrong.
