From edge to spine how wide is the blade on the gunny? Mine is 7/8 and seems small.. I've only seen one other post where ppl asked this question and it said it was like over an inch
 
Well I guess hand made knives vary and that's why they don't add that spec to the website. That's almost a quarter inch short though would I be wrong to be mad about that
 
That does seem a bit short. I have one Gunny in 3V and another in Elmax, plus a Gunny Hunter and a Gunny Scandi, and all 4 measure about 31/32". My Gunny Vortex is slightly narrower at 15/16", as expected.

Did you get yours new or used (maybe reprofiled or sharpened excessively)? Either way, I don't think it's wrong to be upset or to ask the seller about it.
 
My gunny is between 7/8-15/16...probably closer to 15/16.
Which version do you have?
 
I realize it's a small knife but the handle is much slimmer then the bravo lt which is the same width as the bravo lt I was expecting it to fill my hand the same just be a little shorter
 
That's why I don't carry/use my Gunny very much - the handle doesn't suit me, either...but if all knife makers catered to what I like, a lot of other people would be unhappy.
 
yea maybe liners would help I just hate to imagine I'm missing a quarter inch off my blade but the 15/16 makes me feel better cause that's close.. It still makes me wonder though cause I thought I've heard ppl say it was over an inch
