  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Nice 1911! What is it?
Custom made 1911 in 45. The front end was made from a block of steel on a J head vertical end mill. The rest of the work to get it to where it is was also done on a J head. This was made specifically for the Brownell's fair. Everything that is tungsten grey is frame, only the burnt bronze is the slide. The barrel is a ribbed barrel that slides in a track basically that the front end has cut into it. There are lots of designs where a compensator is attached to the front, but the comp moves rather it is on the slide, or mounted to the barrel. This, is part of the frame, it doesn't move. When the barrel locks up in the front, it locks back into zero every time without fail. Just a little something new.
