This is my old standby Ruger new model Blackhawk .41 mag, modified with a trigger and action job (3# trigger pull and butter smooth action) with one of my D2 big game hunters. The knife has 4 7/8" X 1 1/4" X 1/8" Drop point blade, tapered both ways, convex grind. brass bolsters,pins and liners, Scales are mesquite burl.
These are both heavy duty pieces.
This is my first photo post. I hope it comes through in a manageable size...

I got this from Danbo who picked out the ironwood for this rather large bowie by Fitch (. . . or should I say sword!). It has gone on to another collector.

Model 1V Ruger in 25-06 with 1095/O1 HC Ni damascus hunter. Brass guard, sterling silver, elk antler and mesquite spacers, desret ironwood burl handle, and China Mountain spiderweb turquoise butt cap

My old valmet 412 O/U 12 guage. This is a great field gun, one of the slickest handlers i've ever used. Its a keeper.
Knife has a 4" convex ground D2 blade treated to HRC61+ with Manzanita burl scales. Sheath is retan.
