Guns & Trucks

I am not a gun person, but sheesh that woman is an idiot. All the classic lines that media outlets thrive on to sensationalize BS. Fox News is the worst, but this is an example how CNN is a load of crap too...

"Some people...", man I hate quotes like that. Report on news, not opinion for God's sake.

She is an idiot, at least when it comes to "AK47s"...and those "semi-assault" guns. She doesnt even know why she is scared of them, she just knows that she is supposed to be.

I really dont care what they call them or who has them (legally) and think that this is a sweet idea. Just for the record though, calling them AK47s is the same as referring to AR15s as M16s...pretty large difference, legally speaking.

AKs are nice, but I'd rather get one of these.

Holy SH!+ I think I have found a new religion!!! I've always wanted an Humvee with a .50 Cal on top, or would settle for M-60, but I might settle for one of those too!!

Lol, she acts like an AK-47 is some sort of terrifying thing. It's just a semi-auto rifle.

Well, I don't know about your AK , but mine is something to FEAR!!!

I've found BBC seems to give the least non-biased journalism. I live in Canada and BBC gives non-partisan reporting for Canadian affairs.

Good vid.

Just because someone's opinion is different doesn't mean they're an idiot.

They are an idiot when:

Their opinion goes against reason.

They keep asking you different questions to answer a question you have already answered.

They keep asking the questions to further their (CNN's) agenda.

And that is my opinion :foot:

Well said Jason. I can surely respect someone's opinion. My earlier post was just meant to spark some debate and that it did. Opinions can be very dangerous things. I would actually classify her in a different grouping than "idoit". If you are anti-2nd Amendment, anti-American, socialist, facist, or plan on imposing "your" religion on me, no matter how subtly, then you are my enemy and will be treated as such.

Well said yourself. Sometimes I say/post things that don't argue a point intelligently (well, most of the time). But I'm trying and hope I did.:D

Boy did she make me angry!

I've never taken pictures of my AK, perhaps I should bring it out one of these days and snap some pics.
And I support this guy. I believe that every law abiding citizen should own a gun. Although, I do disagree with this guy on one point.
Honestly an AK really isn't that great of a home defence weapon.
Well, not as far as interior home defence. 7.62X39 would blast through many of your interior walls, potentially harming other people or property.

But I, like most of you, would use just about any excuse to buy another gun/knife/flashlight/ _______ fill in the blank, so home defence fits the bill here.
And, yes, perhaps he's defending his "ranch" or a piece of property, in which case, an AK would fit the bill.

:thumbup:Go truck salesman, you rock!!
:thumbdn: for the ignorant news caster puppet

I don't got a truck right now, but I got an WASR-10.

Good video.

Liberalism in the media and definitely an attempt to show bias against guns. The dealer did a great job.

I don't mind the differing opinion either. What I do mind is the inaccurate representation of the "AK-47" in the story. They are hardly giving away a NFA AK - only a semi-automatic variant of the AK design.

The dealer did a very good job with the defense issue and linking the right to defend oneself to the recent Florida murder. I also like how the dealer brought up the voucher and the issue of legal firearms ownership.

I was honestly waiting for the journalist to make an AK reference to terrorists or even the recent Somali-pirate incident.

There was definitely a lack of truth in the reporting of what exactly was being given away for the shock value of the story. I think it worked for the dealer more though. I'd buy a truck from him if he was in my area and I was ready for a new truck.
