I've always though that kind of knife was really desirable, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat (if the price was "right" - that's quite subjective, I suppose). Congrats on a superlative find, leghog! 
(I'd buy it even though the kids on the school bus when I was growing up wouldn't have called me a hillbilly at all. The pecking order or social classes (from highest to lowest) on the bus seemed to be
1. "Regular" kids
2. "Hillbillies"
3. "Dutch" kids
4. "Mexican" kids
I was in group 3.
