:thumbup: Hi to all Knife friends. Today I have a real nice Pre-Ban Elephant Ivory Gunstock with nice creamy texture that these photos aren't showing very well. The Blade steel is CPM-154 -Cryogenic treated an two tempers to a final 59-60 Rc. the Blade is hand sanded as are the bolsters an inside spring. Almost all my knives have a bushing in the pivot area, if it doesn't , the area was to small to put one in like on a Peanut Knife. There is one -thousand of an inch play in the blade an thats from the bushing being 1/1000 " larger the the blade an spring so it can rotate an open an close easy. Thats the Norm clearance with a bushing. The opening length is 6 1/2 " with 3 3/4" closed. The opening pull is light ( 2 too 3 ) with good snap in all 3 flush positions. Bolsters are fluted an the one picture showing the back strap has what looks like saw teeth marks across the back, that is photo error an it is not as pictured.
