The only gunstock I have. :o

I remember when you pilfered that knife. I also remember that it was stunning. Good to see it again.

Here is one a little different and fancied up by Ron Newton.

Jeff,

Really like this one from Richard Rogers, what is the closed length?

Ken. . . .closed length is 3 1/4”.

That Rogers made me sit up straight and put my glasses on. Man thats an eye catcher.

If you're going to be at Blade Show, I'll bring it. Won't even charge you to play with it. Drooling on the other hand. . . . :p

Blade 2006 and I only hit Richard in the noggin' once. :p

Dang, I have been hanging around you that long.:o

Gotta start finding new friends.:p :D

Dang, I cant make it this year. Staying home and working. I would just drool on it.

The Gunstock has long been a favorite of mine. I collected Gunstock pattern knives for many years and have divested myself of all the production examples I had but I still have some of the best custom pieces. With a number of custom makers I actually asked them to build their first traditional gunstock pattern knife. Several of these are pictured below;

I asked Tony Bose to build me a Gunstock pattern and when he delivered it Reese had built one and I was offered the opportunity to purchase it. Below are Tony & Reese Bose ser# 0 for this model.

Next up is a Gunstock by Jack Davenport with engraving by Ray Cover Jr.

Next is Warren Osborne's first gunstock, done for me many years ago.

This group of 3 are, starting at the top and working clockwise, Richard Rogers, Ryu and and a Terry Davis (first of this pattern by Terry)

Last photo again starting at the top and working clockwise, a Jim Burke, Kai Embertsen (first of this pattern for him) and the last is a collaboration by Joe Chamblin and Ken Steigerwalt.

I very much enjoy sharing my passion for knives and sharing pictures of Gunstock pattern knives is even better.

Wow ! All posted are nice, but that is quite the collection of fancy ones. I recently picked up a basspro labeled case mini gunstock. I love the spear/drop point main blade and pen blade set up.
Good size for my purposes - office use
