One of my favorite patterns.
Who likes them and who has them?

I love them but I'm picky and most interpretations do not appeal to me. Schatt & Morgan had a run of #40 gunstock's with 154cm available recently that looked to great. Similar to the Northwoods factory seconds gunstock's that KSF were giving away a few years back. I ordered one and sadly when I got it it was an abomination. Can't believe it even made it out the factory door or a dealer would even sell it. I was so hopeful. Ended up retur ing it. Anyway, I'm looking forward the the GEC #44 run. My ultimate dream would be that Tony Bose and Case do a gunstock for the 2019 collaboration. Please Mr. Bose, Please make it so!!!

Jeff those are nice. I've noticed over the years we have very similar tastes in cutlery.
I'm very partial to the Queen Gunstocks.

Very nice line up, especially that Queen, it looks a lot like one I used to have . . . and after reviewing some old pictures, I'm pretty sure that IS the one I used to have (that curly zebra wood makes it pretty easy to pick out a familiar knife)! I think I sold it to you a while back to pay off some unexpected costs, one of many I now regret selling! It's a good example of what Queen could do on a good day.

I love the handle pattern of the gunstock, but the pen secondary confuses me. A single blade would seem to make more sense as you can get a better grip (so to speak) on the contours of the handle. The secondary blade seems to block access to the contours. Are there any single blade gunstocks out there?

Yes, Carbo, you picked it out. And for further confirmation, you really thinned out the edge on this one.
The bevel is almost an eighth inch wide! What a slicer!

The gunstock pattern has interesting features. The pattern certainly makes it easier to access the pen blade on the Jack version. Some are quite beautiful, and some have odd shapes. I like the older traditional ones.
