While I was searching for this book a while back another forumite was too. I apologize for not remembering who it was, but I now have an extra one in brand new condition. I would be willing to sell it for $35 plus shipping. Next to VALOUR by E.D. Smith I think this is the best book on the Gurkhas. Anyone interested?

If the person in question doesn't get back to you, then I'm definitely interested, especially if it's in brand new condition. I tried to get a second-hand copy through Bibliofind, but the bookstore advertising on the site was out of it. I'm closing for the day, so will only be able to get back to you again tomorrow morning. Bill, do you have that other book by E.D. Smith I mentioned? I think you'd find it as good if not superior.

Looking forward to the book, thanks, John! And yes, I have "Valour" - great book! I see it all over now in the bookstores: Barnes & Noble, Borders, it's even being offered by the History Book Club! This, and Farwell's "Gurkhas" seems to be the most easily available books on the topic.

John, I have only five books on Gurkhas. One of them is by Smith but I don't have Valor. My prized one was sent to me by Lhakpa when he was serving in Hong Kong, "A Short History of the 10PMOGR." More of a booklet than book but really neat.
