-Live blade issued by Brigade of Gurkhas.
-Slight hollow forged blade at 20+ oz and feels alive on hand.
-Stick tang construction with brass bolster.
-Spine thickness is 8mm with tapering towards the tip.
-Comes with patent leather frog and scabbard, complete with karda and chakmak.
-Made in Dharan army base on May 1987, by local kamis (Ordep Nepal 5/87).
-Comes with a matching Gurkha Engineers parade belt with "UBIQUE" Khukuri -cross emblem, scabbard, karda and chakmak.
You could see some light batoning marks on the spine and to me this added a bit of character as a camp tool.
