A search for Bugles and Tigers might turn up some interesting stuff -- might.

"Bugles & Tigers" is a terrific book. Like many about the Gurkhas it contains hints and clues about the kukri and it's use. It's like a big puzzle putting all these bits together. "With Rifle & Kukri" is another obscure book that has great first hand knowledge although placed in fictional situations.

Do you mean "Bugles and a Tiger" by John Masters? www.amazon.com appears to have quite a few used copies. Is this book fact or fiction?
