I have an older Gurkha Kukri made by Cold Steel. This is not a coated one, but just plain satin Carbon V steel. It is one of the "thicker" ( 5/16ths) models. It is still new in the factory box and comes with a really nice leather sheath. I would like to trade this handsome big blade for something in the Spyderco line or in the Benchmade line i.e. Boguszewski models, Switchback model 921. These are much nicer looking than the new coated blades IMHO.
