Guru Pre-orders

I picked up the holey flipper yesterday at BHQ. Looked at both versions, and although the thumbstud version opened well, I open and close my knives one handed so much during the day, I just felt safer with the flipper blocking the edge from hitting my finger when I close it. Great size, pretty comfortable, my favorite blade shape, typical Kizer quality (very good). It will be a beater/daily user for me so that I don't lose my custom Jeff Simmons flipper that I have been using daily for a few months. I'm hard on knives and I want to back off on that one a bit.

Pics please! :)

Awesome shots, thank man. Really having a tough time deciding on which model.

My flipper with holes arrived yesterday, this thing hits all the bases. Smaller, nice flipping action, a little belly not super sharp but I will be putting a edge on it today. Another winner here!

Glad to hear, this will most likely be my next Kizer purchase. Every Kizer I've bought didn't come very sharp and had a very obtuse bevel (greater than 20dps) that I usually reprofiled to 17dps or so. Size comparison pics appreciated! :)

Been on the fence about which one to get, but I think these pics settled it for me. Flipper with holes shall be mine.

They finally arrived...

Im not sure the best way to sell them on here, I've never done it before

I just ordered one from BladeHQ. Holes with flipper. I might want a thumb one next.

I caved and ordered one. Thumb stud, no holes. All I have are Kizer flippers, and hoping the thumb stud geometry is good. If Kizer's contoured Ti wasn't so awesome I'd go for the one with the holes, but I love how it feels like a smooth river stone in my pocket.

just a quick update, have a fresh 17 degree edge this thing is very nice now. Had a chance to work with it at work and used it to cut up toilet box, it is very solid and with a little belly that work perfect. The only concern I have is that the clip has a lot of grip on my carhart pockets, can this style of clip be bent a little to reduce retention?

My pictures don't do this knife justice. The light in my car was a little bright.
