Gustavo Cecchini is a well known maker and respected member/maker of BladeForums. He is one of my many important contacts I've made on this fine site.

I consider Gus to be one of the most honest, courteous, professional, and respectful makers I've ever had the honor of dealing with.

I approached Gus sometime back and asked him if he could make me a knife. He agreed to without hesitation and the entire process was awesome. Gus asked me what I liked and what I wanted and today my package arrived.

He made me a GFORCE II, with a 3.5" s35vn blade, and man am I so happy. Gus has great communication. I assume being in Brazil his native tongue is Portuguese, but his English (written) is as good as anyone in the US. The wire transfer for payment and shipping was a breeze. (PayPal charges over 7% in Brazil, so the wire was the way to go.)

Gustavo Cecchini, I want to publicly thank you for making my experience a positive one. I look forward to my next purchase after Blade.

God Bless,

Sean

Word to the wise. If you take a brand new GTC to the parents house to show your old man, don't leave your knife unattended on the table. You might walk in on your drunk Uncle Sam attempting to use it as a bottle opener. He was attempting to use the blade against the sharp bottle cap. I caught him in the nick of time. The knife would have done the job, but lets just say Uncle Sam would have scratched the blade or would have sliced a finger off. He has 10 fingers, so loosing one or two would be no biggy. I just took delivery of that sweet blade today.

That is an amazingly beautiful knife! Thank you for posting this thread, Sean. I am going to have to contact Gus, very soon to see if he can make me one of his beauties!
