Guthook Black Ash Skinner!

This is a Loveless inspired guthook skinner out of 440C and black ash burl. The blade has hollow grind with a mirror finish and a aggressively tapered tang. It has a exceptionally clean solder joint to the guard and the handle material is absolutely gorgeous! Hope you like it!

I've been using a different process on the solder joint and it has been producing much better results. When I solder it, I do it pretty much the same way that S.R Johnson does in the sub-hilt video. After it cools, I have a sharpened 1/8 brass rod that I use to shave the joint until the radius is uniform. It takes some time, but works really well.
