I saw that two wolves outdoors has the Guyot Stainless steel Standard 38oz bottles are in stock. I ordered one today and received an email with a USPS delivery confirmation number. Apparently they've shipped it.

I know lots of folks here, including myself have been on the lookout for these. Apparently these are the first batch of Nalgene Guyot since the buyout.

twowolvesoutdoors.com is the website.... In case anyone is interested.

Thanks bro just ordered myself another one. Mailed out the Nessmuk to you today

I ordered mine straight from Guyot and recieved it about three weeks ago. ;-)

SS Guyot Bottle arrived today. Its great... Lovin the quality. twowolves was great, and very fast shipping.

Hey guys, didn't see this post until today.

cocomen69,
thank you for the kind words.
I did not realize some of you guys were from the forum. Glad to be of service.

Guyot is still refusing product directly to their distributors/dealers, although they apparently have some. The product is really awesome, but their way of doing business is beginning to really upset a lot of us. Thank goodness the Nalgene distributed bottles are flowing well right now.

No problem! I found out you had them cuz I was cruising the Hoodlum forum and read that you had some in stock in your ad in the for sale area there.... :D

I got mine last week. Wonderful bottles. Thank you Twowolves!

whats the deal with GUYOT and their refusal to ship to their DISTRIBUTORS? do they not realize that they are not making any money as a result?

Two Wolves is awesome! Just received two standard Guyots and the quality is much better than the Enviro's I had bought. I will be turning to Two Wolves for another order shortly.

Anyone have a mini-review?

Double walled, I take it.

What quality is the lid and what size is recommended?

Thanks! :)

The guyot standard bottles are single walled, and well constructed. They are very similar in size to a lexan naglene bottle. The lid is well constructed and attached to the bottle via a nice cord that can be removed with a small allen wrench. It has a small clamp which secures the cord in place on the lid and bottle ends. I ordered a naglene guyot standard from twowolves and a gsi cup to try it out. If the naglene version is the same as the original i know i'll have a use for it.

I've carried my guyot for a few months now and it's well constructed. It's heavier than most other bottles i've carried but i've dropped it a few times and it doesn't dent as easy as a kleenkanteen. The neck and threads are the same as a naglene so all the accessories and carriers i've used all fit nicely.

Thanks to this thread i ordered my bottle and cup from twowolves and i can check out the new naglene version pretty soon for myself.

Two Wolves shows a Guyot that is tapered (I assume the original) and a Nagene which is a straight cylinder. Which one is everyone talking about? Do they both have the same Nagene threads for the top? The cup fits on the bottom of both?

Thanks for the links!

Rats, hoping they were doubled walled. :(

May still pick one up to replace the nalgene.

I've put both hot and cold liquids in mine, replaced the lid with handled version form Guyot, and used it throughout the week. It really sweats with the cold liquids. Needs a good neoprene bottle cover. I may have some made, the ones on the market are pretty bulky.

The tapered bottle is the 32oz.
The straight bottle is the 38oz.

The bottles with the Nalgene logo are the same bottles made by Guyot, just with a Nalgene logo on them. Both bottles will fit in the new GSI 18oz cup.

We do have a review of the 38oz bottle on the site done by Joezilla (Joe Flowers).

Thanks again guys for the kind words.
