GW...for a New Member

Well, this is certainly something I've never tried...

After last night's exciting GW-scramble at the BCS, not everyone had success. And, who knows when the next opportunity will arise? Of course, that's the game, isn't it??

Now let's see if there's any mercy (unstrained) and sympathy (with tea) out there. Not for me -- I've had enough of your kind assistance to get started.

I'm talking about Alejandrino.:thumbup:

His wants/needs are pretty simple. Just a Skeleton Warden -- just one Skeleton Warden.

I know he can buy one on the For Sale forum (maybe for a modest markup), but let's see if any of you real experts are willing to lend your Kung Fu, for just a moment, to a good cause. Alejandrino seems a fine fellow and he's taking his failure well.

Perhaps the next time the opportunity arises, one of you can snag that GW for him. I'll be keeping my eyes open...but I'm just a White Belt.

Actually, since Jaxx took up the gauntlet -- it's probably already over.

That man is already a mega-Hog. I don't think he was EVER a newbie (like Alejandrino and myself).:D

Can't be 100% sure, though. There are other extremely capable Hogs...many of them quiet, clever, extremely stealthy (think Mulder). You don't see them, you seldom hear them, but you can feel them (sort of) orbiting at high speed just out of sight. And they score like crazy.

Don't blame me for the lack of GW's.
I have yet to score any from the Company Store.
I have only managed to score one SW from a very helpfull HOG. :thumbup:

C'mon, let's show some BUSSE LOVE to some not so lucky at the trough... I'm game. I might not be here all night, so assistance would be appreciated!

Thanks, J ! I doubt if I will also be able to be here all night and I don't want you doing this just to help me, do this only if you are also after something for yourself. I have visitors coming over tonite so..I can wait. Just my luck, my wife sends me out to buy some groceries and one just got sold at the forum. Guess I never realized all the good hogs in this forum!!

alejandrino, I have a bit of a rep here concerning the Skelly Wardens... LOL don't ask! ...So, I would consider it an honor as both a payback AND a payforward move to help you score tonight. :D :thumbup: Awwww, yeah we's gonna bust yo INFIcherry tonight... but BE WARNED!!!! Alejandrino -- I've only been here a short time, but have already discovered that BF and Busse Forum in particular are loaded with good people. A great place to be.

Mulder -- I would NEVER accuse you of hoarding knives. Owning them, yes; hoarding them, no. I was merely alluding to your superior acquisition skills and your former status as a Stealth Hog. That's something for folks to aspire to, not complain about.

Wishing all the best...as my Internet connection has gone very spotty and I may not be able to stay on.
 
If anybody needs help in scoring a GW... I would be glad to help! Either from my collection where I can or from the store if its still to come. I do have seconds on several of the combos... some seconds are spoken for already, some I have only one of... the singles will remain part of my collection as long as I am able to maintain it.

I did not build my GW collection alone... and I don't know of anybody that has. I had much help from one hog in particular, but there were several hogs and piglets that helped me along the way. This IS a great place, with lots of great people... errrr hogs. :D And I'm glad I can be a part of it! :cool:

I do not have him covered yet. But when the dust settles I'm sure that between all the people here he'll get one.

Edit: I went back and looked through all his post.. he never bitched once! I'd bet $1,000 he gets one one way or another... well if he is at all reasonable.

Unfortunately, "tied up" means I'll be on staff duty staring at a wall for twelve hours (could be worse though, usually it's twenty-four hours).
