gyotos with Mokume blades

Gorgeous to look at and should do their jobs well. They just beg to be used. How do you think the colors will hold up with slicing meat, tomatoes and such?

The colors I am sure will will change but I don't know in what way.
 
Just lovely. The coloring adds an element of playfullness to a very austere design that is quite Japanese in appearance....as if many other bladesmiths could pull this off at all, that is.

I love everything about it.
