Gyuto with 190mm (about 7 1/2”) long, chisel ground, sellectivelly hardened, kuro ushi finished 1095 steel blade and “tool type” dark imbuia Wood handle with brass collar. Besides giving thé knife a nice vintage look, this handle configuration is very strong and even if thé handle cracks at the handle/blade junction, thé brass collar will prévent it from falling apart.
