Thanks! Sometimes when you finish a knife, you are ready to get it out of the shop. This one is the complete opposite. I've been reluctant to let it go, but economics demands its release...
 
Wave are very nice indeed. So is the flow of the ironwood -- much more distinct stripes than I usually see -- goes well with the temper line.

I can see why you hated to let this one go...

There's just something special about desert ironwood....and how it just glows....this one is like amber. I could look at it all day.
 
Daniel, that gyutou is beautiful! I really like the stark hamon.
