Just wondering really, they both look great and have that rustic look, a friend of mine is looking for one and those are the two he has narrowed down so asked I would mind posting and seeing what you fine gents have to say?

H&B are a bit on the chunky/heavy side.

Ft Turner hawks are thinner (but by no means weaker) and I think they take a much better edge. Also the internal dimensions on the eye are some of the most precise I've seen.

I can't speak to the H&B, but I love my Ft Turner buck hawk. It took a great edge and has given me no problems at all. I would definately buy another hawk from Ft Turner. I have recommended them to others who bought and also hold them in high regard.
