This is a *hand made and one-of-a-kind* custom folding knife, model LL01, made by South African knife maker Herucus Blomerus. The stainless damascus blade is high contrast and beautifully done. The blade is opened via a right handed thumb stud (closely positioned against the bolster in the closed position). It is perfectly centered and has very smooth movement, with no blade play. Handle material is reconstituted marble (a very rare and unique material in a knife). The golden veins contrast beautifully with the black stone. Bolsters are stainless steel and hand engraved in a basket weave pattern with subtle floral motif. Titanium liners are anodized blue and are hand fileworked in a vine pattern on the spine.
This isn't just an "art piece" - it's a sturdy, very functional knife.
This knife has also been professionally and expertly sharpened to a ridiculously sharp convex edge.
**The listing is "used" only due to it being sharpened. It has not been carried and and is in "as new" condition**
Price is $old flat (Paypal only - I'll take care of fees). I'll take care of shipping (CONUS only [no New York], via first class mail with appropriate insurance). I think that's really fair for a knife from a talented, up-and-coming, maker working with such interesting materials…but, if you feel otherwise, No trades please.
