H.E.S.T. is on sale!

Just use a Smith & Wesson sight adjustment tool or an old Western Auto or Craftsman four way keychain/keyfob screwdriver.

In the case of the S&W sight adjustment tool, you could hand file a micarta slab to slide and pressure fit one of them in place and dig it out with your fingernail or whatever, or put a smallish lanyard through the keyring hole on it and then have a small knot that you just snag with a fingernail, etc.

Well, in a way, you can't blame him for writing what he wrote, you know what I mean? If it's a bit foggy, maybe he knows a lot of his audience better than I do.

They do need to sell the knife to people. Some quick specs and a price won't necessarily do it. Some people want the coolness factor, which may be provided by the SD bit or the whole site that was made. Though I think if we all saw some hires photos of the knife in action, we'd order 6 immediately lol.

Regarding the handle removal, just whittle a stick and use it as a screwdriver or even find a rock if the stick isn't strong enough.

Was thinking about that, but depending on how tight the screw is, it may prove to be very difficult or just impossible.

Uncle Bills sliver grippers should work, i.e. the part that holds the tweezers - I've already used that as screwdriver, and I always got one on me for getting rid of splinters and ticks.

What is the price on a "Regular" one going to be?

If the limited run is $140, I'd like around $100 or so. Not sure how much more you can charge for something like that, but that seems like a reasonable price. Maybe $90 to have more variety, in price, in addition to the new knife.

On dpxgear.com the price is $140 + tax which gives you $151.18 with free shipping (worldwide, allegedly) and a signed book. So I'm expecting a regular knife to be around $90-100 + shipping.

I'm looking forward to the regular run. I'm passing on the Limited Edition. If I bought the limited Edition, I would probably never use it.

How thick is the blade? I didn't see it mentioned on either the RAT or DPX site.
