Did it fall off or you take it off? Been thinking about these. Will get one if can find under $50. Wish these had a sheath like the cskII. Thats an excellent sheath.

Rarely ever see hardcore backpackers with such a blade. And "super lightweight" it ain't regardless of the claim in the video. A Mora #1 only weighs a bit over 2 ounces or 20% of the H&K, and you'll rarely see backpackers with a knife even the size of the Mora.

Yeah, it might be a cool knife but it's not for backpacking. Backpackers carry a Swiss Army Knife more often than any other single piece of equipment.
My own hiking/backpacking knife weighs 0.8 oz.
And backpackers don't chop trees or participate in many knife fights. :D

Steel will Druid and Hk feint left out in field in the wet quite low maintenance and corrosion resistant

Seems nice a great option for some. Backpacking for me, really depends on where I am hiking and when I am hiking. Some places and times of year I suspect making fire at a base camp, after a 20 mile day appeals to many people. keeping weight to a minimum is still ideal for different styles of backpacking. Not everyone does minimal through hiking....
