This knife is from Kentucky knife maker H.L. Holbrook," Harv " . Somehow I call him Hal ,too. Harv does an outstanding job on his knives, real nice even thin grinds & excellent fit & finish . He calls this one his slim hunter,it's also lighter in weight than a hunter this size with micarta. 8-3/8" OAL blade is 3-3/4" from tip to handle scale with 3-5/8" of cutting edge . Handsome color dyed & stabilized maple with thin black g-10 liners.SS corby bolts and lanyard tube. The blade is .188" thick CPM-154 ss ,I get just about 3/16" on a tape measure,at the spine just in front of the jimping, real nice tapered tang. Deep hollow ground,a hand rubbed satin finish Harv says 800 grit but feels like glass. A beautiful heavy duty sheath 8-9 oz. leather, right side bely loop completes it. The sheath is really nice.
