H O F S H Super Magnum

"Several" .... you a HOG! More than one HOFSH...you a big HOG! More than one satin HOFSH...you a really big HOG! A HOFSH that's fatter than 5/16"...how much ya want for it? :D

Here's a couple of pics of my measurements of my one and only non-satin HOFSH! Yes I'm a little green with envy Cobalt. ;)

Butt is over 5/16"... kinda expected that. Where as the measurement in front of the handle just before the grind is under 5/16".

Those pics were taken with a canon elph powershot S100, 2.1 mega pixels. Got it when they first came out, dang thing cost $600.00 back then. Man have they gotten more powerful and way cheaper. I like the canon elph the best, they're built like little tanks and hold up way better than the other cameras I've owned. I actually drop this one from waist high on a vinyl floor, no damage! Keep coming back to this one. Simple and does a pretty decent job of pictures. I'm on my second battery. Got it from the web for under $20.00, incl shipping.

Nice Pics. If I can get a new battery tomorrow, I will take some better pics. I found the little flower button.

Here is a spine shot of all of them.

I made a mistake. It is thicker than all the rest at the handle, but at the actual blade it is 5/16 like all the others.

Oh wait, was that April 1st?

You guys had me wondering so I got my HOGFSHs out and took my old dial caliper to them. One measures .316" right in front of the handle slabs and tapers to the tip. The other measures an impressive .320 at the blade in front of the handle slabs with it tapering toward the tip. Both knives have big handles and are DCBB finished.

Jeez Cobalt, how do you keep all them from plunging through the floor when you have them in one spot like that? :D

Cobalt

Cool pictures:D The #1 is way cool.
Nice to see that you got the camera working right.
I personally look forward to more macro pictures of your wonderfull knives.
Try some extreme close-ups next time.

Cheers,

André

Photobucket reduced these pictures to far. I'll have to reload them better.
The one in the center is the one that is thicker than all the rest and it is thicker than 5/16 at the base of the blade.
