I do not have this knife anymore because some jerk with sticky fingers helped them selves to this knife out of my college dorm room when I had some people over one night to drink. I am supper bitter about it. It was one of my favorite Spyderco knives

When I scrape up the funds (college is to damn expensive) I will have to get myself another pacific salt because its my all time best fishing folder

Yes they do. RIT dye works great on the FRN.

Interesting. I have two PE Pacific Salts. I might experiment with one of them.
Do the colors apply pretty much straight up? Or do you have to account for some color blending?

From what I have seen the colors work straight up. You should look on the spyderco.com forum for more dye jobs and info. My Spyderhawk is done with scarlet, the Ladybug with purple and the Dragonfly dark green. Depending on how long you leave it in the dye can determine how dark it can get.
