H1 Steel for Dummies

anti-torsion, have any of your H1 knives gotten chippy on you? I have three I've used pretty heavily and another I'm working on but they haven't chipped on me yet. I'm kind of set on getting all my serrated knives in H1 because it's toughness seems to work well with the thinly ground serration patterns.

I don't know about H1, but in Materials Engineering classes, they use a press on low-carbon steels to mash them, and then they take a rockwell measurement and find it to have hardened. It's all about them plastic deformations =)
