i have a lot of H13 in odd ball shapes. i know they would prop make good hammer steel, or punches any other ideas for it. ive taken some of the larger pieces 6in. dia and 2in. thick and surface ground them for bench blocks for sanding and setting pins. there are alot of rounds 3/4in. by 5-6'' long .
what do ya think??? also some really big pieces of A2

If you want to get rid of some of the 3/4 rounds I would be very interested! Thos would be prefect for alot of tools, perhaps we could work out a trade?
 
Well how's it sound I forge you a hot cutting chisel, hot punch, or any type of hot work tool you might want/need from a peice of that 3/4, in trade? How much of the 3/4 round drops do you have?
 
was thinking more in the lines of maybe some handle material possibly. and i probably have a 5 gal. bucket about 3/4 full and another bucket of some big 2'' thick discs of a2 and h13 as well as some blocks to. (good to surface grind and use as pin blocks
