Both come with sheaths shown, both have been used. I need to move these quickly, so reasonable offers via PM will be considered. No trades.

The Swatmandu has been used minimally, only cutting things around the house. The edge retains the original profile but has been refined a little. There is smoothing in the DC finish along the saber-ground portion, especially along the ridge where the grind starts.

The RR Spike is used. It has been reground and sharpened. It has been used, sharpened, used more. It has rub marks from the kydex. Edit: This is INFI, not Elmax.

Full disclosure: When I bought this, I was told it was as new, but the penetrator tip had been ruined by someone messing up the grind. It appeared to me that someone had sharpened it on a belt sander and let the blade snag on the belt near the tip which rolled the blade down and ground on the spine by the tip. To fix this, I reground the tip area and brought the tip down to more of a drop point. I am disclosing this as if you didn't know that the RR Spike's had a penetrator tip, you probably wouldn't be able to tell anything had been changed.

Isn't this just a hack game warden? Never heard of railroad spike..

It is thicker than the normal hack warden at .22" thickness. They were in the Lardoganzaaaaa http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...own-At-The-Hoe-Down!?highlight=lardoganzaaaaa http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/664243-LardoGanzaaaaa-Specs-And-Pricing?highlight=lardo

But two things come to mind now that I look at that link; one, it may not have come with a penetrator tip. That may be what was so weird about it, it may have been a home-made penetrator.

And two, I'm not sure if Jerry ever intended for them to actually be CALLED "Rail Road spikes" or if he was just poking at their short-but-thick nature.

Either way, it's basically a fat game warden with a choil instead of a talon hole.
