Take the head injury serious though, those things can come back and kick you but, ask me how I know.

Us huge hard headed Brothers got to stick together.

Glad to hear alls well with your noggin. Ive got a bit of a pumpkin head myself.

If I get a head ache or something at work my buddies tell me a head like that ought to hurt. Thats now become damn near an automated response for me when anyone tells me their head hurts now.
 
I must know, did this impact your "Thousand Yard Stare" in any way shape or form? :)

Good to hear you're ok. Don't jump back into the daily grind too soon.

I do like the horse hide sheath idea though.
 
Yep, I have been "that guy" going yeah yeah...I am OK...what are you all worried about followed immedately by face planting back into the dirt...!!!!

Glad you are doing OK mate. Take it easy and and let it heal up.

Thanks for all of the thoughts everyone. I will take it easy for a few days and all will be well. I have had a few concussions over the years from horse, and other rodeo animals.
Didnt really bug me to much today unless I turn my head too fast. That makes my vision seem to take an extra second to catch up.

Anyway, no worries I be back in front of a grinder soon enough.

Garth, buddy, you're kinda accident prone. Last month it was a bunch of HOGs gone wild, stampeding & trampling you, this month it's the horses! ...Might wanna stay away from the Rats 'n' Dogs... I hear that they also travel in herds (groups? mischiefs? packs?) and they bite. ;)

Glad to hear that you will be OK, glad you went to get checked out...can't hurt as ya know...but that's some scary isht when you can't remember something, ain't it?

I talked to my Mom a bit ago and she told me what I apparently yelled at the horse. Sounds like something I would say just wish I hadnt said it in front of my mom. Being a family friendly forum I am not able to say it here either. I should have my mouth washed out with soap.

At least in Atlanta when the Hogs stomp you get to have a beer with them afterwards. And the Hog stomp doesnt hurt as bad.
