Is that an eel? My old boss used to talk about lampreys up in lake Ontario. They are some freaky critters! About how big was it?

Eel? Sea snake? In okinawa there's sea snakes that everyone says have very potent venom but lack mouths big enough to bite us with. It still freaks you out when you're 15-20 feet down and they start swimming directly at you. I guess they see their reflection in your mask and think its another snake.
