Had an interesting visitor while fishing today

Looks like a Moray eel to me.

Yup.

We were on a reef catching bait, and the eel came up and was swimming around with the fish and around the boat.

I have never seen a moray on the top of the water like that before.

I remember whan I was in 5th grade Science class many moons ago our Science teacher told us her husband and a friend were diving on a reef feeding a moray eel when it grabber her husbands arms and backed into his hole. They could not get the eel out and He was very low on air so his friend had to cut his arm off or he would have drowned.

Am I the only one that saw that thing and thought about jumping in the water after it. That thing would make awesome Northern Pike bait.

Between this thread and talking to Woz all day. I want to go fishing. Hopefully the lakes will start to freeze soon.
